In underwater rugby, fins aren't an accessory: they're your engine. Everything you do — diving to the bottom, sprinting to the ball, turning around an opponent, stopping before the basket — comes from your legs. Power Fins are CMAS-approved polymer fins with the short, stiff blade this sport demands, in a turquoise that looks amazing underwater. US$180 a pair, shipped worldwide.
Why the short blade rules in underwater rugby
Players coming from swimming or snorkeling usually show up with long-blade fins, and at their first practice they find the problem: in an underwater rugby play you don't swim in a straight line. You start, stop, turn and collide in a space the size of a basketball court underwater. A short, stiff blade gives you instant acceleration and fine control; a long blade tangles with opponents, gets in the way on the bottom and leaves you slow exactly when you need to explode.
Polymer: the practical choice
Polymer takes what carbon suffers. In a sport where fins knock into each other, scrape the pool bottom and get kicked by opponents, a material that forgives impacts is gold. It also resists chlorine and doesn't demand the almost ceremonial care a carbon blade needs. If you're putting together your first serious kit or you train several times a week, these are the right fins.

If you want maximum performance and don't mind the extra care, check out the WaterWay carbon fiber fins. For everything else, Power Fins give you 85% of the performance for less than half the price.
Also great for underwater hockey and apnea
The same short-blade profile works for underwater hockey (Spanish) and for dynamic apnea training in the pool. If you're going deep in open water, that's when a long blade makes sense.
Sizes and fit
They have a closed foot pocket: wear them barefoot or with a thin neoprene sock. The fit should be snug without squeezing the top of your foot. Size 38-40 is the one we normally keep in stock (sold out right now); other sizes are made to order and take about 2 months. Message us on WhatsApp with your shoe size and we'll confirm availability before shipping. If your fins tend to come off during play, add a pair of fin straps.

FAQ
Polymer or carbon fiber?
Carbon returns more energy and weighs less, but it costs more than twice as much and it's delicate. Polymer handles contact, needs less care and costs US$180 versus US$425. For most players, even competitive ones, polymer is the sensible choice.
Why is the blade so short?
Because in underwater rugby you start, turn and stop in a small space. A short blade gives acceleration and control; a long one gets in the way and tangles.
What size should I order?
They have a closed foot pocket. Message us on WhatsApp with your shoe size and we'll confirm the fit. Size 38-40 is the one we normally keep in stock; other sizes are made to order and take about 2 months.
Do they work for freediving or snorkeling?
Yes, they're ideal for underwater hockey and dynamic apnea in the pool. For deep freediving in open water, a long blade is preferred.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, worldwide from Medellín, Colombia. Shipping is quoted per country before you pay; import duties and taxes are paid by the buyer. See International orders.
